First Houston United Methodist Church, Women’s Ministry is a group that helps women stay connected to God, build relationships, and grow in faith. We have several groups and activities you can be a part of in the women’s ministry.
First Houston Women’s Ministry Small Groups Events Throughout the Week
United Women of Faith (formerly United Methodist Women)
United Women in Faith seeks to connect and nurture women through Christian spiritual formation, leadership development, creative fellowship, and education so that they can inspire, influence, and impact local and global communities. The Church Circle at First Houston United Methodist Church meets on the second Tuesday of each month at 10:30 in the Lifeline Room.
DIVAS (Divinely Inspired Victorious and Serving) Sunday School
Location: Meeting on Zoom on Mondays In-depth Bible study with study guides and lively discussion. Mission-minded with focus on service beyond the church walls. Age range: Women of all ages

Do you knit or crochet or are you interested in learning? We welcome you to join our Prayer Shawl Ministry team. We will offer classes for those who don’t know how to knit or crochet. Want to spend time with a good book? Come join our Women’s Ministry Book Club as we read books written to encourage and inspire us in our faith. The Women’s Ministry Book Club will meet at various homes on the 1st Wednesday of every month.
