The pastors of First Methodist Houston are great teachers in the community and are willing to teach God’s word. First Methodist Houston is led by Pastor Lindsay Kirkpatrick. Along with Pastor Lindsay Kirkpatrick, First Methodist Houston is privileged to have Pastor Amanda Davis, Pastor Eric Pugh, and Pastor Sylvia Kiboko.

Senior Pastor

Lindsay Kirkpatrick

Rev. Lindsay Kirkpatrick is our new Senior Pastor. She brings 17 years of ministry experience, most recently serving 11 years at Asbury UMC in Pasadena. Lindsay and her husband, Kenton, have three children—Braden, Logan, and Beth.

Pastor of Missions & Family Ministry

Eric Pugh

Pastor Eric Pugh, our Pastor of Missions & Family Ministry, has served at First Methodist Houston. An ordained United Methodist Deacon, he brings over 15 years of ministry experience and holds a Master of Theological Studies from SMU and a Doctor of Ministry in Preaching from Garrett-Evangelical Seminary.

Pastor of Altar Umoja

Sylvia Kiboko

Pastor Sylvia Kiboko leads Altar Umoja at First Methodist Houston, celebrating African culture through worship in Swahili and French. Join for fellowship at 11 AM and worship at 12 PM on the second floor; first Sundays are in the sanctuary with translation services.
