EXECUTIVE PASTOR
Rev. Amanda Davis
Amanda Davis is our Executive Pastor at First Houston Houston. Prior to First Methodist Houston, she served in East Texas as the Pastor of Woodville United Methodist Church for seven years. Also, prior to her years at Woodville United Methodist Church, she was an Associate Pastor & Youth Director at Humble United Methodist for six years. She believes wholeheartedly that the church should be a hub of ministry opportunities for the community to experience the grace and love of Christ.
Amanda grew up in Northwest Houston, joining the United Methodist Church in junior high. After graduating from Lon Morris College, she finished her undergraduate work in Family and Youth Ministries at Kansas Wesleyan University. Amanda attended seminary at Brite Divinity and was ordained an Elder in full connection in 2010. As a wife and mom of two children, she enjoys cheering on the A Team (the entire family has the same initials) in all of their activities, including memorable adventures through national parks and Disney World.
