Scripture of the Week:
“Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good! His faithful love endures forever.”
– Psalm 118:1

Hello Church Family!

As we prepare for what I think is one of the best holidays of the year, I want to say how thankful I am to be one of your pastors. It’s an awesome thing, to be entrusted alongside you with the mission and ministry of a church like ours. I am thankful to God for the opportunity to serve Him, I’m thankful to you for being a part of bringing 1 Corinthians 12 to life right in front of our eyes, and I’m thankful for the kingdom work we do through the power of the Holy Spirit. I hope that wherever you find yourself tomorrow, you have the opportunity to take 10 minutes and just jot down as many things as you can think of to be thankful for. I bet you’ll be overwhelmed with God’s goodness just as I am.

Christmas is around the corner, (Advent starts on Sunday!), and I want to make sure you see some special events below. Our Go Missions Team is hosting a Christmas party that everyone is invited to, to celebrate the missions we have done together this year. There’s also a Christmas Luncheon for Seniors, and you have to RSVP in the next couple of weeks for that. We’re hosting a Christmas party for NIA kids on December 10th and need some volunteers to serve some holiday cheer! And this coming Sunday is the last chance to choose a child to bless through the Magi Tree this Christmas.

This Advent, we’ll be celebrating Jesus Christ, Light of the World. Come prepared to be amazed at the light in the sanctuary, and even more amazed at God in Scripture, testifying to the light since the very beginning of time.

Grace and Peace,
