Scripture of the Week:
“Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. Praise the Lord!”
– Psalm 150:6
Hello,
Earlier this week, a church member shared a family picture with one of our staff members. Her granddaughter is an equestrian, and at the huddle before practice, they bow their heads in prayer. But her granddaughter didn’t think that was sufficient, so she taught her horse to bow his head during prayer time as well. It was such a sweet thing, and I took it as a delightful nudge from the Lord, that my opportunities to influence folks (and animals?) for Christ are probably broader than I realize! : )
Our potluck swallowship and Thanksgiving in a Bag packing this past Sunday were so fun. It was heartwarming to see the church being the church- serving, encouraging, supporting, connecting.
Together, we provided Thanksgiving for 150 families, friends! {We did that using ONLY designated funds, not budget.} Our exterior lights are in the process of being installed as we speak. Christmas is coming, and I want you to put December 19th on your calendar. We’re going to have a church movie night and watch The Polar Express.
This Sunday, we’re going to take time to thank the Lord for all of His many blessings. Before we ask, we thank. I can’t wait to worship with you this Sunday!
Grace and Peace,
