There is no way around it, we become like those we are around. Are there relationships that are hurting your pursuit of God? Ask the Lord to show you the relationships that need to be discarded or avoided. Seek out people who are aligned with God and His purposes, so your character becomes more like His.
Prayer: Father, show me which relationships I need to let go. Bring people into my life who are seeking Your will and help me desire Your will and character in my life.
Petition: For each of us to examine our relationships and where they need adjusting so we are pursuing God’s will together.
