August begins the last month of our Year of Prayer and Discernment. This month will be focused on giving praise to God for how we have seen Him moving over the year.
Scripture: My lips will shout for joy when I sing praise to you— I whom you have delivered.
– Psalms 71:23
Prayer: I praise God for His good and perfect plan, that He presented me with the opportunity to be on the prayer team and surrounded me with people that encouraged me to try something that I never could have done by myself.
Petition: I praise Him for providing me with incredible examples of Christian leadership on the prayer team and throughout the church that have fostered my growth and shown me how to live by His example. I praise Him for using the Year of Prayer to help keep the church’s focus on Him and discerning His will through this season of change for the church. – Cole Parsons
