Day 326

Scripture:

“Remain in me, as I also remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me. I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing”.

– John 15:4-5

These verses paint a beautiful picture of our relationship with Christ. The branch must remain one with the vine to survive and bear fruit. We thrive in intimacy with Christ, and He alone knows how to make our lives prosperous. Practice remaining in the presence of Christ today. Use your imagination and the illustration and ask the Lord to guide you.

Prayer: Jesus, I love You and I need You. I want to connect with You and learn how to be one with You. Please help me.

Petition: For Pastor Lance, Rachel, Nathaniel and Gabriel as they are adjusting to their new life in Houston and at First Methodist. That they will stay connected with Christ and that He will comfort and encourage them in their new journey.
