I have been a long-time member of this church and have regularly attended worship and Sunday School. I have also been on several mission trips and participated in some small group studies. However, I never really got involved in the life and workings of the church. I praise God in that last year I was invited to join several committees and to become more involved. In accepting these invitations, I have gotten to know the pastors, staff, and lay leaders much better than I had before. We have many amazing, loving and God-focused people in our church. We do have some challenges before us, but I feel blessed to be a part of this congregation and know that, together, with our eyes on Christ, we will strengthen and grow our church and make more disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world. – Steve Thomas
