Paul’s Malta

St. Paul’s Bay – To the north of the Island and stop where the ‘two seas meet’ and location of Paul’s shipwreck. Mdina-Rabat – A visit to the CATHEDRAL OF MDINA (known as the silent city). Then to St. PAUL’S CHURC

Day 4 | Wednesday, April 10

Gozo Island

A short ferry sail then visits to: The Temples of Ġgantija/ a megalithic temple complex older than the pyramids. The Citadel/ built on the site of an early Stone Age settlement. The Cathedral/ Baroque style and dedicated to Mary, mother of Jesus. Dinner & Overnight in VALLETTA

Day 5 | Thursday, April 11

Malta to Sicily

The ‘Malta Experience’ – 7,000 years of Maltese history. To the airport for the short 45 minute flight from Malta to CATANIA in Sicily – Dinner and Overnight In SYRACUSE.

Day 6 | Friday, April 12

St. Paul’s Sicily

Syracuse Archaeological Site/Roman Amphitheatre/ Greek Theatre/Temple of Apollo/ “Dionysus’ Ear”/ (very similar to the “Siq” at Petra). Dinner and Overnight in SYRACUSE

Day 7 | Saturday, April 13

St. Paul’s Sicily

Syracuse Old Town – A guided walking tour of the little Ortigia island (the heart of the town) Free time for leisure to explore the Old Town area. Dinner and Overnight in SYRACUSE

Day 8 | Sunday, April 14


Mount Etna/ see the volcano – the highest an active in Europe. Taormina/ time to browse in the quaint hillside town. To Rome/ from Catania airport Dinner & Overnight in SYRACUSE

Day 9 | Monday, April 15

Sicily/ Agrigento

A day trip to the ‘Valley of the Temples’ and this major impressive site in central Sicily – a UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE SITE. Dinner and Overnight in PALERMO

Day 10 | Tuesday, April 16


Morning short flight to Naples and visit impressive POMPEII. Then to Paul’s arrival port of POZZOULI before taking the Appian Way to Rome. Dinner & Overnight in ROME.

Day 11 | Wednesday, April 17
