Finance and Business Manager Position

Reports To: Senior Pastor & Chairperson of the Administrative Board

Youth Director at Downtown CampusJob Purpose:

A position is available that requires skills similar to a Chief Financial Officer and General Business Manager. A thorough knowledge and understanding of accounting principles is required but applicant does not have to be a CPA. Strong interpersonal and supervisory skills are required. Job will entail coordination of the business dealings of a two campus church with related charitable affiliates.

The position will report to the Senior Pastor and Chairperson of the Administrative Board as well as interacting with the Chairpersons of various standing committees of the Church.

Duties and Responsibilities

Staff Management

  • Accounting and any outsourced providers
  • Facilities of both campuses
  • Communications, media and other technology areas
  • HR – Will work with the Chairperson of the Pastor, Parish and Staff Committee as well as the Senior Pastor and Executive Pastor to assist in employment matters

Other duties will include:

  • Invoicing of related entities for facility related expenses
  • Management of banking activities and investment relationships
  • Audit management
  • Contract oversight and audit
  • Authorization of staff expenses
  • Oversight of record keeping
  • Lead budgeting
  • Interface with and assist both the facilities personnel and the technology team.

Salary is to be commensurate with skills and experience of the candidate and market for a similar position in the nonprofit community.
