Rev. Jordan Czichos

Pastor Jordan Czichos, originally from Spring, moved back to Houston to serve in ministry with First Houston after graduating from Duke Divinity School in Durham, North Carolina. Jordan received her undergraduate degree from Stephen F. Austin State University in Music with a focus in voice. In college, Jordan was involved with her local Wesley Foundation. Following her undergraduate, Jordan became an active member of student leadership at Duke University serving on Divinity Student Council and the Graduate and Professional Student Government.

Although this is Jordan’s first appointment as a United Methodist pastor, she has served at a variety of churches and nonprofits throughout Texas and North Carolina. Jordan’s goal as a Christian and pastor is to work toward living life and life abundantly with others in relationship with the Divine (John 10:10). Her official job with First Methodist Houston is the pastor over evangelism, working to build authentic community relationships that lead toward expanding the love of God and figuring out strategies to help First Methodist Houston get new people plugged into the church.
In her off time, Pastor Jordan enjoys reading, listening to podcasts, and checking out new places across the city of Houston.
