QUILLIAN SUMMER DAY CAMP

It’s that time again. Summer time is right around the corner. The kids will be out of school and are ready for a fun place to release their energy. Look no further, Quillian Center is here to provide a wonderful summer camp experience. Quillian Center, Sports and Recreation Ministry of First Methodist Houston is excited to kick off the 2009 summer camp season. Our fun loving and professional staff is here to enhance the summer camp experience for your child. Our camp caters to children between the ages of 3 to 14. We have a wealth of opportunities for children to engage in that range from sports, enrichment, bible studies, special events and service projects. Just imagine a summer filled with magic shows, ice cream socials, swimming, rock climbing, special guest speakers and so much more.

Registration Dates:
Register by May 22nd and receive the Early Bird Fee!
Campers who are registered by May 22 will also receive a FREE CAMP T-SHIRT
2009 Summer Camp Fees (per session): *
$150 - Early Bird Fee (This fee applies only if you sign up before
05/22/2009)
$160 - Regular Fee (This fee is due every Thursday, prior to the
beginning of each session)
$175 - (This fee applies to payments made after the Thursday
prior to each session)
*$30 of your pre-paid tuition is non-refundable
Typical Day at Summer Camp:
7:00 – 9:00 Arrival
9:00 – 9:30 Morning Assembly
9:30–10:45 Specialty Camp Activity
10:45 4:00 Break Into Individual Groups - activities include
Game Room, Playground, Special Activities, Indoor
and Outdoor Games, Snack / Lunch Times, and
much more.
4:00 – 5:30 Swimming or Gym Time
5:30 – 6:30 Game Room / Departure

(Camp will not be available for the 3 & 4 year olds during session 12)
NEW SUMMER CAMP - FOR AGES 3 & 4
This year, Quillian Center is excited to announce a new program for our three and four year-olds! The program will provide excellent camp facilities including Early Childhood amenities for both educational and physical development. Children will enjoy developmentally appropriate activities such as crafts, music/movement, Noah’s Ark pool time, playground time and Chapel. Children activities are carefully planned with many opportunities for self-expression and creative learning experiences.
Summer Camp will begin on June 1st and end August 14th. Camp times are from 7 a.m. until 6:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
On-line registration begins April 13th. Register before May 22nd and pay $150.00 for each session. If you register after May 22nd the summer camp fee will be $160.00 per session. TEEN CAMP
Our dynamic teen camp program is for teens between the ages of 13 to 14. The teens will be a part of a program focusing on volunteerism. On a weekly basis the teens will take educational field trips, engage in service projects and attend weekly bible study. In the past the teens have volunteered at the Houston Food Bank, First Methodist Joy Ministries, Homeless Shelters and Second Blessing. Not only will the teens enjoy the service projects, they will also be able to enjoy our array of amenities at the Quillian Center and participate in Specialty Camps.
