Wesley Academy is First Methodist Houston's exemplary, Christian, private school that is located on the Westchase Campus at 10570 Westpark Dr. @ Sam Houston Tollway.

In August of 1995, culminating a vision of First Methodist Houston, Wesley Academy opened its doors to welcome students from diverse ethnic and religious backgrounds. Today, Wesley Academy, conveniently located in the Westchase District, is housed on a twenty-seven acre tract of First Methodist Houston's Westchase Campus. The two-story Education Building contains science labs, computer labs, large classrooms, as well as music and art facilities accommodating children three-years-old through Grade 8.

The mission of Wesley Academy is to provide an educational environment that embodies the Christian faith and encourages students to reach their academic potential. By fostering mutual respect and cooperation, the school enables each child to develop a sense of self-worth, independence, responsibility and self-direction.

Students are introduced to the wondrous diversity of creative expression found in reading and writing. Through literature, poetry, creative writing, story telling, and dramatic expression a strong academic foundation is built which supports sound fundamentals in all aspects of the curriculum. Music, art, computer (classroom and lab), Spanish, Christian education, health, library, and physical education round out the curriculum.

Wesley Academy is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools and is a member of the Texas Association of Non-Public Schools.
