FAITH AND FRIENDSHIP
The Singles Ministry of First Methodist Houston encourages men and women to know and grow in the love of Jesus Christ. Knowing the joy of a personal relationship with Christ, we seek to share His love with others through ministry and service. We serve a diverse range of single adults: Young / Mid Singles (mid 20-40s), Single Parent Families, and McSingles (50+). The Singles Ministry provides opportunities for worship, Bible study, service, and fellowship with other single adults. YOUNG / MID SINGLES ( AGE 30-45)
The Single Purpose Class is a Bible Study comprised of an awesome, diverse group of young / mid single adults age 30 - 45. We meet at 10:05 a.m. on Sunday mornings at the Westchase Campus, located at 10570 Westpark Dr. @ Sam Houston Tollway, in Room 216 of Wesley Academy. Lessons are grounded in scripture and focus on topics of faith and everyday life. The diversity of this group enhances our sharing and learning during class discussions. We also enjoy getting together for monthly fellowship activities and mission opportunities outside of class. Single-Singles and Single Parents are welcome!  The Singles Purpose Class is taught by Karen Kelly.

SINGLE PARENT FAMILY MINISTRY
The Single Parent Family Ministry is our newest ministry area!  The SPFM provides opportunities for single parents and children to network and fellowship together.  The vision of the ministry is to empower single parent families to minister to one another to meet spiritual, social, and practical needs.  If you have a heart for people parenting solo and would like to participate in this growing ministry, please contact Mark Welshimer at: mwelshimer@fmhouston.com or 832-668-1838.

McSINGLES (50+)
The McSingles are an exciting group of single adults 50+ who take monthly Saturday trips.  McSingles visit many points of interest surrounding the Houston area.  We provide bus transportation, water and snacks. Costs vary depending on destination. Watch for upcoming events on Saturdays - Nov. 10th and Dec. 1st.
