It’s that time again. Summer time is right around the corner. The kids will be out of school and are ready for a fun place to release their energy. Look no further, Quillian Center is here to provide a wonderful summer camp experience. Quillian Center, Sports and Recreation Ministry of First Methodist Houston is excited to kick off the 2010 summer camp season. Our fun loving and professional staff is here to enhance the summer camp experience for your child. Our camp caters to children between the ages of 3 to 14. We have a wealth of opportunities for children to engage in that range from sports, enrichment, bible studies, special events and service projects. Just imagine a summer filled with magic shows, ice cream socials, swimming, rock climbing, special guest speakers and so much more.

Registration Dates:  Registration begins on Monday, April 12, 2010. Click here to register online.  Note: All 5 year old children who have not completed Kindergarten must enroll in the Pre-K Camp.

Register by May 21, 2010 and receive the Early Bird Discount! (for all sessions that are pre-paid by that date)
Campers who are registered by May 21will also receive a FREE CAMP T-SHIRT

2010 Summer Camp Fees (per session): *
$160 - Early Bird Fee (This fee applies only if you sign up by
           05/21/2010
$175 - Regular Fee (This fee is due every Thursday, prior to the
            beginning of each session)
$190- (This fee applies to payments made after the Thursday
           prior to each session, $205 if not registered by the Sunday before camp)
           *$30 of your pre-paid tuition is non-refundable

Drop in care is availalbe for $40 per day.  A child must be registered in at least one full week of camp in order to participate in drop in care.  Drop in care is limited to 2 days per week (three or more days in a week is considered a full week and all fees must be paid)

Typical Day at Summer Camp:

  7:00am –  9:00am - Arrival 
  9:00am –  9:30am -  Morning Assembly 
  9:30am –10:45am -  Specialty Camp Activity
10:45am -   4:00pm -  Break Into Individual Groups - activities
                              include Game Room, Playground,
                              Special Activities, Indoor and 
                              Outdoor Games, Snack / Lunch 
                              Times, and much more. 
  4:00pm –  5:30pm - Swimming or Gym Time 
  5:30pm –  6:30pm - Game Room / Departure

Our dynamic teen camp program is for teens between the ages of 13 to 14. The teens will be a part of a program focusing on volunteerism. On a weekly basis the teens will take educational field trips, engage in service projects and attend weekly bible study. In the past the teens have volunteered at the Houston Food Bank, First Methodist Joy Ministries, Homeless Shelters and Second Blessing. Not only will the teens enjoy the service projects, they will also be able to enjoy our array of amenities at the Quillian Center and participate in Specialty Camps.
