Amazing Athletes for Kids
Amazing Athletes is a fun-filled sports and fitness program designed for kids 3 to 6 years of age. Gross motor activities, muscle tone, physical fitness, two ball sports and various games enhancing hand eye coordination and brain development are compiled into every action-packed 45 minute class. Each week, the focus will be on the basics and fundamentals of two of the nine sports, including soccer, hockey, football, basketball, baseball, volleyball, golf, tennis and lacrosse. This fun and positive learning experience will help the child develop new sports skills as well as instilling self-confidence, good sportsmanship, and team pride.

Aikido for Adults
This program is designed for young adults as well as adults looking to experience and learn about Martial Arts. The program teaches a traditional Japanese form of marital arts called Aikido and focuses on self-defense, tradition and discipline. You will enjoy learning as well as exercising your muscles, improving flexibility and building focus and concentration.

Kid Kix Gymnastics & Martial Arts for Kids
Quillian Center will be offering a new class focusing on Martial Arts & Gymnastics. Children between from kindergarten to 6th grade will learn the essentials of strength, flexibility and self confidence. Chinese Martial Arts training includes drills, kicks, punches and self defense techniques. Physical fitness, self discipline and positive social development are emphasized in the martial arts class. Gymnastics instruction includes beginner and intermediate skills on the floor, low balance beam, single bar and mini tramp, including skills form the Unites States Gymnastics Federation.

Jazz/Hip Hop For Kids
This class will expose students to different jazz dance styles and introduce jazz technique, choreography and skills. Students will also learn the history of jazz. Emphasis will be placed on developing rhythmic awareness, choreography and individual expression. Additionally, students will learn Hip hop style, combinations and short routines. An informal performance will be held on the last day of class for parents and friends.

Creative Dance For Kids
Children are introduced to movement through exploration of the elements of dance. Students explore basic movement concepts such as pathways, directionality, musicality, rhythm, shape, size, speed and levels. Utilizing creativity, imagination and exploration children also develop spatial and body awareness; cooperation, communication and social skills in a fun and nurturing environment. Fun music and dance steps will be learned. This is a great class for boys and girls that love to move and dance. The emphasis is on the concepts of movement and dance as opposed to technique. Students will learn and create basic dance combinations and their will be an informal performance for parents and friends during the last class of the semester.

Yoga for Teens & Adults
Adult Yoga is offered for all level of participants and focuses on individual needs. Flexibility, injury rehabilitation, relaxation, coordination and balance are included. Increased body-mind awareness as well as breathing are incorporated. Classes offer all individuals of all ages and abilities the opportunity to expand their physical, emotional and spiritual well being through a relaxing and fun Yoga class. The class takes a laid back approach to learning and welcomes all participants that want to explore the benefits of Yoga in a comfortable environment.
