You CAN Change the World!
You are invited to put on your sneakers, roll up your sleeves and join us as we Change the World April 14-15.
Last May, more than 600 of you were a part of our efforts to reach our city through Change the World. It's time again to come together in community and personify the love of Christ. Join us as we come together as a church and spend the weekend making a positive impact for Jesus in our community.
Saturday, April 14, we will serve the partner ministries Bush Elementary, Willow Falls, WHAM, House of Amos and Global Media Outreach at the Westchase Campus.
Schedule
Saturday, April 14 - Westchase Campus
8:30am - Opening session - Gather in Westchase Campus parking lot for "Service Rally" and instructions for the morning.
9:00am - Work projects begin at:
- WHAM (9:00am - 12:00pm): volunteers in Second Blessing, food pantry, clean up facility
- Bush Elementary (9:00am - 1:00pm): plant trees, fill sandbox, repair picnic tables, Community Event with activities for families
- Willow Falls (9:00am - 1:00pm): Refugee Apartment Outreach - trash pick up, activities for families
- House of Amos (9:00am - 12:30pm): assist with client check in and grocery distribution at Food Fair
- Global Media Outreach (9:00am - 12:00pm): Online Missionary information/training/practice session
- Prayer Service for mission ministries (9:00 -10:30am): Hinson Chapel - praying for ministries served and projects
