Retreat Speaker: Rev. Mark Welshimer
Mark leads the Young Adult ministry Downtown. A native Texan from El Paso, Mark has a vision of reaching people where they are. He has a passion to reach young adults in the Houston area by connecting, serving, and empowering them to grow deeper in their faith and be a vital part of First Methodist. Mark and his wife Sara have been married for 8 years. They have 3 children, Beth, Rachel, and Nicholas, and an annoyed cat, Penny.

Jordan is lead singer and songwriter of the new band called Sweet Avenue. His greatest strengths are his servant's heart and love of his family. His greatest spiritual accomplishment so far is the awareness of the great call God has on his life to minister. We are thrilled to have Jordan back with us again.
