Like seeds planted in good soil, First Methodist Houston's women are growing in the image of Christ through a variety of Women's Ministry opportunities (Luke 8:5-8). We are an active group of women eager to serve God and His people as we grow in faith together. With God's help through prayer, Bible study, mission, mentoring, and retreat we can make a difference...each for the other; all for God!

Tuesday Noon Bible Study for Women

Spring 2013
Unglued, Making Wise Choices in the Midst of Raw Emotions
by Lysa Terkeurst

We have had a wonderful session increasing our worship, anticipation, and yes, fear of God as have studied Revelation with Beth Moore.  What a joy to share in that study of God’s Word with you!  The opportunity to dig deeper has been exhilarating, but now we need a change of pace and intensity.

Our new study for Spring is “Unglued, Making Wise Choices in the midst of Raw Emotions”, by Lysa Terkeurst. It is a six week study and as it has been selected with the goal of helping you live a life focused on God’s peace, purposes and plans.

In this exciting, interactive study, we will learn to resolve conflict in our important relationships, find peace in difficult relationships, identify what type of reactor we are, and gain a deep sense of calm in situations that are out of control through stories of inspiration and testimony. Lysa will teach us to harness some of those out- of-control emotions.

If you have already registered for Tuesday Bible Study and purchased your book, GREAT!  If you have registered but have not yet paid for your study book, please bring your payment on Tuesday.
