9:50 a.m. - Sunday School

• Breakfast Club (20s and 30s, singles and couples) - Room 414. This class uses a "real life" viewpoint 
  of reaching young professionals with Biblical and revelant studies. Class contacts: John Melton and Rev. Mark Welshimer.  
   
• Couples in Christ (Young couples) - Room 403  This class relates Biblical principles to everday life and marriage issues. Rev. Mark & Sara Welshimer are the teachers.
   
• Catalyst, a new Sunday morning Bible study class for Young Adults, began January 9th in Room 401. All are invited, and we hope you will join us for breakfast, fellowship, and Bible study. 11:00 a.m. - Traditional Worship

• The Young Adult Steering Committee starts this Fall. We will be planning new ways to reach young professionals in the Houston area. If you are interested in being a part of this new team, email Mark Welshimer or call him at 832-668-1800.
   
• The Houston Marathon is held annually in January. We've had great teams in the past. Last year, with the lottery in effect, some people were able to run and others weren't. We would like to have a strong team from First Methodist Houston to run, as well as cheer for our runners. We will have team meetings to discuss training and running with various running coaches, and veteran runners.
