Our goal...  The goal of First Methodist Houston's Young Adult Ministry, Sixth Day Ministries, is to reach young adults for Christ and connect them to our church through faithful teaching, powerful worship, meaningful service, sustaining relationships and refreshing love.

• The Young Adult Steering Committee starts this Fall. We will be planning new ways to reach young professionals in the Houston area. If you are interested in being a part of this new team, email Mark Welshimer or call him at 832-668-1838.
   
• The Houston Marathon is Sunday, January 30, 2011. We've had great teams in the past. Last year, with the lottery in effect, some people were able to run and others weren't. We would like to have a strong team from First Methodist Houston to run, as well as cheer for our runners. We will have team meetings to discuss training and running with various running coaches, and veteran runners.
